The GIQ Mini USB docking station offers universal compatibility, providing a stable connection and increased productivity for your device. By expanding the female USB C port to multiple connectivity options, it allows you to stream or extend video to your monitor, projector, or TV with its 2HDMI/1VGA ports. You can also utilize the super-speed USB 3.0 ports (up to 5Gbps) to connect your hard drives to your laptop, and the card slot supports SD and TF card data read and write.

The docking station is compatible with a range of monitors, supporting three high-resolution displays up to 1920x1200 @ 60Hz. However, it's important to note that DisplayPort displays are not supported. Additionally, while the DisplayLink technology is flexible and versatile for most users, it may not be suitable for gaming or HDCP (copy-protected) content playback.

Please note that before using the Docking Station, you must first download the "DisplayLink" program on your computer and ensure it is running. It's also crucial to download the latest system-specific driver (see the main picture for the download link).

With the arrival of macOS Big Sur 11.0 and the M1 chip, the operating system has implemented stricter security policies, affecting the Giq driver installation. As a result, users will need to explicitly enable/allow the system extension within the 'Security & Privacy' settings in System Preferences.

The docking station offers a range of benefits, including full HD 2K output, fast heat dissipation, and a slim, lightweight design that's easy to carry. It also features a USB-C power port that provides power to the docking station itself, but does not support power supply for the host computer.

Additionally, the docking station provides a stable and secure connection, allowing you to transfer data between your laptop, displays, and other connected devices. It also supports 3.5mm three-section headphones.

The docking station is compatible with a wide range of laptops, desktops, phones, and tablets, and supports various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, Ubuntu, Chrome OS, and Android. However, it is not suitable for MacOS 10.13.x and earlier, Linux/Unix, and ARM-based Windows systems.
